This project was launched by the Azim Premji University with the objective of encouraging social sector organisations to invest in developing a grounded knowledge base for the sector to cover interventions from education, sustainability, livelihoods, preservation of culture and community health.

The target groups included adivasis, small farmers, children, women, youth and differently abled persons, among others. Many organizations submitted their stories from the field for this initiative.

The the intended audience includes educators, researchers, practitioners, policy makers as well as students of development.
