1. Gram Vaani built a news-over-phone citizen journalism service that in now deployed in Jharkhand, Bihar, and MP in India, and in Afghanistan and Pakistan internationally, and has seen over 1.5 million users and 6 million phone calls. They are also building similar services in urban areas for citizen-based monitoring of public services. Center for Media Studies is a body of artists, academics, researchers, students and scholars actively involved in the production of visual content, performance, teaching/learning media, film, media studies, television and in general, all forms of visual media,arts and culture. 10. Access to Knowledge is a campaign launched by The Centre for Internet & Society to promote the fundamental principles of justice, freedom, and economic development. It deals with issues like copyrights, patents and trademarks, which are an important part of the digital landscape and has advocated against laws (such as PUPFIP Bill) that privatize public funded knowledge. 11. Adivaani (the first voices) is a platform for indigenous expression and assertion. It is an archiving, chronicling, publishing and disseminating outfit of and by the 104 million indigenous peoples of India (Adivasi). Their intervention through multiform and multimedia is about literary, socio-cultural-politico and identity engagements and inquiries with and within their lived in wisdom, lived in knowledge and theirr everyday realities. 16. Sarathi-Jhalak is a Community Radio Station, developed and run primarily by women. Located on the eastern periphery of Bangalore, it transmits programmes aimed mainly at youth, to 63 villages in this area, covering a population of close to a million.

18. AlgoSov – the European observatory on Algorithmic Sovereignty is a collective place of documentation gathering research, developments, events and projects related to the topic. 24. SynTalk (short for Synthesis Talk)​ is a freewheeling interdisciplinary talk show with a philosophical approach to understanding the world from a long term perspective. 25. Sangham Radio a community radio service run by Deccan Development Society, Andhra Pradesh, focuses on several issues like autonomous markets and food and seed sovereignty, particularly for women farmers. Video Volunteers, an international community media organization, equips women and men in underdeveloped areas with video journalism skills, enabling entire communities to expose underreported stories from their communities and take action to right the wrongs of poverty, injustice and inequality.
